The Beginning

Cert’s musical journey began in childhood, inspired by two worlds that would ultimately shape his sound: video games and R&B/Hip-Hop. Fascinated by the spacey, atmospheric soundtracks that brought his favorite games to life, he began imagining how those textures could blend with the classic and modern R&B and Hip-Hop introduced to him by older family members. That early curiosity became a creative calling, and by age 14, Cert had begun producing music, laying the foundation for the atmospheric, soulful sound he continues to evolve today.

The Breakthrough

Cert’s earliest beats began as remixes of classic video game music, blending the sounds that first sparked his imagination with his growing passion for production. Over the years, he continued developing his craft and built an audience on SoundCloud, accumulating more than 4 million plays. As his journey evolved, production alone no longer felt like enough. Cert wanted a more personal way to express his love for music, which inspired him to step beyond the boards, discover his own vocal tone, and begin shaping his identity as an artist.
